To do this, they publish research and content with an aim to inform policy across Italy and Europe, build programs for stakeholders, businesses, entrepreneurs and students to advance their ideas for innovation and progress, and bring their political, economic and social expertise to support institutions in their vision for development.
The University of Tartu is Estonia’s largest and oldest university, founded in 1632. We are Estonia’s national university and the centre of the country’s academic spirit. We are a strong research university, promoting education and research worldwide. More than 17,000 people work and study at the university.
University of Lodz is the biggest University in central Poland capturing hearts and minds, devoted to research and higher education development, aiming at community transformation. Our little homeland is Lodz – a city with an unusual, difficult to imitate character, once called the capital city of Polish industry and cinematography, today it combines the charm of past times with the spirit of modern business, culture and science.
The ESRI produces independent, high-quality research with the objective of informing policies that support a healthy economy and promote social progress. Ireland is currently facing many challenges on both fronts. Our primary objective is to provide policymakers with robust, objective evidence that can translate into effective policy solutions.
The National Centre for Social Research –ΕΚΚΕ- was established in 1959 under the auspices of UNESCO and is the only public institution in Greece dedicated to the social sciences. ΕΚΚΕ is a public law legal entity supervised by the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) of the Ministry of Development and Investments.
The University of Pisa is a public institution with twenty departments, and high level research centres in the agriculture, astrophysics, computer science, engineering, medicine and veterinary medicine sectors. Furthermore the University has close relations with the Pisan Institutes of the National Board of Research, with many cultural institutions of national and international importance, and with industries, especially those based in information technology, which went through a phase of rapid expansion in Pisa during the nineteen sixties and seventies.
The University of Jyväskylä is one of the largest and most multidisciplinary universities in Finland. We are an open and collaborative community of 2,800 experts and over 14,300 students seeking answers to the pivotal questions of today and tomorrow. Our impact extends across Finland and the world, for example through our more than 26,000 adult students.
Established in 1981, the Warwick Institute for Employment Research (IER) is a leading international social science research centre.
