SkillsPULSE contributes to the FGB publication “Economia & Lavoro”

SkillsPULSE has contributed to the FGB publication “Economia & Lavoro” 3/2025 issue of the four-monthly journal.
The project’s contribution explores the historical context of EU skills policy, the evolving nature of skills shortages, and the challenges of ensuring effective skills utilisation, while also examining the broader implications of demographic shifts and labour market inequalities.
Economia & Lavoro is a well-regarded academic journal produced by the Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, focusing on labour economics, social policy, and industrial relations. It brings together scholarly research, policy analysis, and interdisciplinary debate on issues such as employment trends, welfare systems, and economic development, particularly within the European context. Inspired by the legacy of Giacomo Brodolini, the journal reflects a strong commitment to social justice, workers’ rights, and evidence-based policymaking, making it an important reference point for researchers, policymakers, and social partners.
