SkillsPULSE at the 16th FGB Knowledge Apéro
On 12 February 2026, the SkillsPULSE project took part in the 16th FGB Knowledge Apéro, an informal after-work gathering that brought together experts and social partner representatives in Brussels to discuss the role of skills intelligence in decision-making.
The debate focused on a key question: how to make skills intelligence truly useful, usable, and actionable for labour market stakeholders.
The discussion highlighted that, beyond data availability, the real challenge lies in turning skills intelligence into practical knowledge that helps social partners critically understand skills shortages narratives, assess emerging skills claims, and confidently question and contextualise labour-market evidence.
SkillsPULSE’s involvement in this Knowledge Apéro reinforces its commitment to bringing skills intelligence closer to decision-makers in the world of work, promoting tools that enable social partners to use data effectively.
Such events also help strengthen the European community working to improve the understanding and practical use of skills data, a core objective of the SkillsPULSE project.
